Stephanie Phan


Research Assistant, Medical Student


Stephanie Phan is a second-year medical student at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has a bachelor's in Pre-Medical Studies from Thomas Jefferson University. At Thomas Jefferson University, she worked and presented on a few research projects, including: Improving Visitor-Induced Stress on Enclosed Western Lowland Gorillas and Quantifying Suspended Microplastics in the Water Column With the Urbanized Patapsco River, Maryland. Her goal is to become an Internist specializing in Geriatric Medicine and Wound Care. She is excited to gain more research experience in Dr. Butler's lab, work with others from diverse backgrounds, and learn from them! Outside of school and research, you can find Stephanie hiking, exploring the local farmer's markets, spending time with her 3 dogs (Chorizo, Luna, and Nina), and cheering on the greatest sports city in the world: Philadelphia! (Go Birds and Go Phils!)
